Greetings to all of our supporters out there in the galaxy! The Deeepspacecraft needs your support TO REPAIR OUR CENTRAL A/C immediately! As you may know, New Orleans is very HOT and HUMID, especially during the spring and summer months! Therefore A/C is a need not a want! We have residents in the home who are currently enduring with fans, swamp coolers and ice cubes… but it is not sustainable! The quote to repair the A/C is $7K . As our condenser needs to be removed and replaced, the coil needs to be removed and plenum due to size differences. They need to Install a new box coil with plenum to match, hang and secure with heater stands, fabricate plenum, seal all transactions with tape and mastic as needed, apply new straps to ducts and seal.

Please help us raise 7k immediately- this is URGENT. We also will eagerly receive the services of a qualified professional who is an ally of the communities we serve and willing to donate parts and labor to resolve this issue!

The DeeepSpaceCraft2020 is a BLACK & INDIGENOUS safe space in New Orleans, that offers:

Protection and shelter for the Black, Indigenous, queer, trans, intersex community in the event of an emergency prioritizing folks living with disabilities.

Garden space to grow food and practice meditation

Community Events & Workshops

Art Gallery and Exhibits

Wheelchair accessible home

Rehabilitation spaces to heal

Artist residencies for Black, queer, trans, intersex beings

We are successfully going strong into our fifth year of this service based project! We are a grassroots effort and therefore we solely rely on the support of patrons, donors, community members, fundraisers, and allies.

We struggled through the end of 2025 to make it through the fiscal calendar. And we did!

Please help support us to close the gap in what we are short for repairs, it will be greatly appreciated!
