Help Dee Overcome This Crisis with Her Son

Urgent! A family who has volunteered to fight for life now needs our help to protect her son who has been Abused!

Dear friends,

If you know me, you're aware of my volunteer leadership role at the Bay Area nonprofit Pro-Life San Francisco. One of my fellow volunteers and her little toddler, a cherished mother and child in the community, need our urgent help! It’s every parent’s nightmare... Tragically this is the second time Dee's now three-year-old has been physically abused in a daycare center. This time right in front her on the playground while teachers sat and watched and did nothing.

Dee went to her child's aid as he was screaming and crying, and told the teacher (who isn’t even his teacher) to never put their hands on her child again!

The family went straight to the E.R. and pressed charges with the local police department. Upon returning to the school, Dee was disgusted that the teacher was still being allowed to teach. Staff shared that they have union rights, and if they were sent home, the daycare center could be sued.

Dee has removed her son from the center and he is on a waiting list to start the therapy he needs. He doesn’t want to be left with anyone but his mother. She can’t return to work until her son is well. Dee herself is a suicide survivor who has PTSD and deep depression, and together with her therapist is navigating through struggles with anxiety and panic attacks.

They have reached out to relatives for financial help with no response, and their rent is due tomorrow. Dee is currently borrowing funds to prevent any worse scenario from coming about as she seeks out new employment in a remote role.

They really need our help in the wake of this inhumane act taken against Dee's child. Our children deserve not just to be protected in the womb….but after birth too!
