Help Debra rebuild her life for her children

My name is Debra, and I recently fled my abusive husband after 12 years of marriage and 5 children. I finally realized that I needed to show my children that they are worth more than the abusive environment they grew up in. We are now trying to piece our lives back together.

In the 12 years we were married my husband used and abused me; physically, verbally and psychologically. He was cruel to our 5 children and I tried my best to protect them. Recently he has begun a new career and moved into a new home with another woman.

Will you please help me keep my children safe from our abuser? I have seen many miracles happen along this tough path. It has reinforced my faith in God and in the goodness of people. I know that my children and I are on the right path to rebuilding our lives, but we cannot do it alone. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you for reading my story.
