Help raise funds for Quad Amputee to get new prosthetics due to atrophy.
Friends, family, and guest, please join in with this humble request.
Living as a breast cancer survivor and quad amputee, it is a challenge every day to live an active, healthy life that I want to keep. I am also able to encourage others who see me active. What an opportunity, I love it. Prosthetics are an amazing tool. Wow, but very expensive. Especially on a fixed income and many other tools I haven’t mentioned. Through my insurance I am responsible for 20% of DME, durable medical equipment.
in 2005 I battled breast cancer. In 2008, two days before Christmas, I became ill in my home. My symptoms were like food poisoning, vomiting, violent chills, fever, and light headedness. I encountered sepsis/DIC, disseminated intravascular coagulation = blood clots throughout my body. All your organs shut down. Lack of circulation caused the limb loss to all my fingers and both legs below the knees. Therefore I became a quad amputee. I was a dead girl. Doctors gave me 20% chance to live. Going on 15 years I’m still trying to grasp it.
I am thankful everyday for Gods provision and all the beautiful people that surround me. My faith brings me such joy and hope for the future. 1 Peter 1:3-5
Thank You for your help, love hugs
Deborah Moore
