Please help Lynn rebuild her life!
This is my dear friend Lynn. She has been an employee at the Maxwell Golf Course for over 15 years. As head bartender and a jack-of-all-trades, Lynn prides herself at taking care of all military members, civilian employees, contractors, families and guests that visit Maxwell Air Force Base's golf course and the Maxwell Club. If you were a student on Maxwell AFB, there's a good chance you met her at the golf course, club lounge or in the Pit. Her welcoming smile is enough to melt your heart. She's always happy, helpful and warm. And despite serving thousands of people annually, she never forgets a face.
Last night, Lynn's house went up in flames and she lost everything. As I talked to her about it, tears of sorrow filled my eyes because she nearly lost her life. She presently has a broken arm and almost couldn't open up the door to escape her home. She rushed out with only the clothes on her back. Fortunately the fire fighters were able to recover her purse, which had minimum damage. However, the flames rekindled two additional times. The fire fighters deemed it a total loss after putting out the flames a third time.
I urge you to please help Lynn get back on her feet. She needs clothes, food, furniture, toiletries, etc. Most importantly, she needs your prayers and support. Anyone who knows Lynn knows what an amazing person she is. She would give the clothes off of her back to help a friend, or even a stranger, in need. And she has. In fact, the picture you see is when she used her day off to stay with me during a surgery, something I will always be grateful for.
The money you donate will go to helping Lynn rebuild her life and return back to work despite not having a residence. Her home was next to her father's home, whom she cares for when she is not working. This lady has helped so many. Lynn truly deserves our help, love, prayers and support!
Thank you,
