With no family in Colorado and no other options, we would end up living in my car or in a shelter, which would be devastating to mine and my son's mental health. We also have Emotional Support Animals that we must care for.

My son has special needs, and the stability of a safe home is crucial for his well-being. The uncertainty and stress of our situation have been especially hard on him, as he depends on routines and support to thrive. I am doing everything I can to find work and secure a new source of income, but time keeps running out. We are on multiple waiting lists for long term housing, but everything is at capacity and there is no immediate availability. We have managed to afford our extended stay hotel room for the last three months. But I have no money coming in except for TANF. That's less than $500/ month. Until I can get a stable job, I am relying on the kindness of strangers like you to maintain our living situation.

We are asking for help to cover our temporary housing costs so we can avoid homelessness and keep my son safe and supported.
