Hello our names are Deanna and Donasha. We have had custody of our beautiful girl since she was discharged from the hospital. She was exposed in utero to various illegal drugs which is why she was placed in our care at birth.

Because of that exposure she was diagnosed with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. She is now 23 months old and she is our world. We want to be able to keep her in the only home she knows, with the only family she knows, and to continue to provide a loving, safe and secure home for the rest of her life.

We have retained an attorney and started the adoption process but the biological mother and punitive biological father have decided to contest this. Because of this we have no way to determine the length of this process nor the final cost. We have already invested a sizable amount of money towards lawyer fees and we are trying to ensure we will continue to be able to keep the counsel we have selected to represent us.

We are not the type of people to ask for help but If you are reading this and are able to assist us in anyway it will be eternally appreciated.
