Hello everyone! My name is Dayton Ellis, and for the past six years I have been living in a two bedroom two bathroom trailer in a mobile home park with my boyfriend and two roommates. For a the majority of our stay in this place, I was the main bread winner with the ability to to pay the majority of the bills. However back in January of this year, I was let go from a factory job I had for eight years, and had to use my 401K to keep paying the bills while I tried to apply for disability and my house mates did their best to keep up with the rasing expenses. The enocmy has gotten so bad in our area, that even with three people doing fast food work and odd jobs is leaving us having to choose between paying bills on time or stocking our pantry. On top of that, the appliances that came with the trailer are breaking down and on the verge of dying. Just the lot rent and house payment together each month totels to over $1,000 before any other bills are applied, so it doesn't leave us much to even replace them. By next June, the lot rent will increase and make things more dire.

We talked it over, but we decided that we would have better luck with bills if we got a house with our own land, and we were fortunate to find a four bedroom, two bathroom home in our hometown that was recently listed for foreclosure with an asking price of $69,900. The home is a bungalow built in 1919, and needs a lot of TLC. However despite its condition, we have done the calculations and decided at least living in a fixer-upper with our own plot of land would be cheaper on us than living here in a mobile home park.

The goal we are asking for is enough for enough to place a down payment on this property, closing cost, hire a home inspector and electrician; and an oven for the property since it only comes with a microwave and refrigerator. So an estaminet of at least $30,000 might cover things. If enough money is donated to exceed the goal, every cent will go into renovations and restoration.

Provided below is the Zillow link for the property for donors to see. Once the goal is met and the house is bought, I will provide updates on moving in and renovation. Thank you for your time, and bless you all.
