Hi, my name is Linda, and I am reaching out on behalf of my beloved grandson, Dawson, who at 19 months old, has been recently diagnosed with a rare and life-limiting genetic condition called Infantile GM1 Gangliosidosis. His diagnosis has turned our family's world upside down. We are now on a journey we never expected, doing everything we can to give Dawson the best possible quality of life, and most of all, time. Despite everything, Dawson is full of love and light! As this progresses Dawson will require ongoing medical care, special equipment, therapies, and travel to Cincinnati.

GM1 is an extremely rare genetic disease that causes progressive damage to nerve cells in the brain and throughout the body. Most children with this lose critical skills and often do not survive past early childhood. There is currently no cure, but treatments and therapies can help manage symptoms and give children more comfort and love in the time they have.
