I created this GoFundMe account to help cover the cost of ketamine infusions. These infusions are administered to treat severe and unrelenting abdominal pain associated with gastroparesis. Unfortunately, ketamine infusions cost $1,500 each and are not covered by insurance.

* Gastroparesis is a motility disorder that causes the muscles of the stomach and intestines to slow or stop functioning all together. After becoming malnourished, I began receiving transparental nutrition (TPN) through a picc line in my vein.  I also experience horrible nausea,  vomiting, and low blood glucose.

Initially I had a goal set to $3,000. However; I increased that amount to  $6,000-$8,000 because my health is deteriorating rapidly.  As a result, more infusions have been added to my treatment plan.

Sadly, there isn't a cure for gastroparesis yet. The only other option I have is to have the remainder of my stomach removed.
