Dear friends and community,

Jessica is raising funds for her friend, Dawn Marie, who has been hit with several overwhelming challenges all at once. Black mold was discovered in Dawn Marie’s home, forcing her to pack up and urgently search for a new place to live. In the middle of that stress, while trying to manage packing and finding housing, Dawn Marie accidentally injured an old hernia. Now, while waiting for surgery, Dawn Marie has been put on bed rest and is facing the impossible task of recovering, moving, and securing safe housing with very little money to fall back on.

These funds will help Dawn Marie hire help for the move, be ready with a deposit when she finds a new home, and hopefully cover about a month in an Airbnb so she can stay somewhere safer and healthier while recovering. Dawn Marie has spent so much of her life showing up for others, including Jessica, with nonstop love, positivity, and genuine emotional support. She has also supported small businesses, helped with giveaways for a pain support group, and remained a dedicated admin for a chronic pain community she helped build so others would not feel alone. Dawn Marie is always the one giving to others. Now it is her turn to feel that love returned.
