Help Dawn Find Peace and Comfort

My name is Whitney, and I'm asking for help for my incredible mom, Dawn, who has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Carcinoma. This news came completely out of the blue. On July 9, 2025, she went to the emergency room for what she thought were just gas pains. We never could have imagined this diagnosis.

This has all happened while my own life has been in transition. Just two months ago, I moved in with my great-aunt and grandmother to help them as they are reaching the age of needing assistance. Not even a week later, my mom got sick. I am now trying to finish school while caring for all three of them.

On top of this overwhelming diagnosis, my mom is currently without a job, a car, or a home of her own. She's been staying with a friend, but it's not a stable or safe situation for her. My mom is stubborn and hard-headed, but she is one tough cookie. She's always been a fighter. Now, we want to give her a peaceful and comfortable place to live as she navigates this journey. We want to raise funds to buy a small RV that can be placed on my aunt's land. This would provide her with a secure and private home where she can rest and feel safe.

The funds we raise will be used for:

* A small RV: To provide a comfortable and stable home.

* A wig: To help her feel more confident and comfortable.

* Medical expenses: To cover her treatments and care.

* Daily needs: For transportation to appointments, groceries, and other necessities.

My mom has always been a source of strength and light for those around her. Now, we are asking for your help to be a source of strength for her. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in her life and help us give her the dignity and comfort she deserves.
