Help Davontre Become an EMT – First Step Toward Firefight
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Davontre Henderson, and I’m working hard to become a firefighter — but first, I need to complete EMT training.
Currently, I’m working with the Fire Crew Clean-up Team in the Palisades, assisting in restoring areas impacted by wildfires. Previously, I played linebacker at Delta State University, where I developed discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. These experiences have fueled my passion for serving the community, and now I’m ready to take the next step by becoming a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Why I’m Asking for Support
I’ve been accepted into an EMT program, but the costs — including tuition, books, rent, and transportation — are more than I can manage alone. While I’m working and saving diligently, the demands of full-time training will require me to reduce my work hours.
Your support will help me cover:
• ✅ EMT tuition and certification
• ✅ Books and required gear
• ✅ Rent and basic living expenses during training
• ✅ Transportation to and from classes and clinicals.

Budget Breakdown
Here’s a breakdown of how your support will be used:
• EMT Program Tuition: $1,595
• Books & Supplies: $351.46
• Rent & Utilities (During Training): $5,000
• Transportation: $1,000
Total Goal: $7,946.46

Why This Matters
Becoming a firefighter isn’t just a job — it’s a mission to serve and protect. EMT certification is my first major step, and I’m ready to give this my all.
Even a small donation — $5, $10, or $20 — makes a real difference. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might.
Thank you so much for supporting me in chasing this dream. I truly can’t do it without you.
With gratitude,
