My name is Davina and the picture is my husband Randy. Randy was always a strong man, devoted to our family. Since 2008, when he was forced into retirement, his health has slowly failed him. He is now unable to walk or do much due to congestive heart failure, diabetes, stage 4 kidney failure, glaucoma in which he is essentially blind, he has lost 1 toe on the left foot, and half his right foot has also been amputated.

I’m writing this with a heart full of sorrow and fear.

My beloved husband is being discharged from the hospital, but not because he’s getting better—he’s coming home to die. The doctors have done everything they can, and now we are facing the end of his life… far sooner than we ever imagined.

I will be caring for him at home, alone. I want to make sure his final days are filled with peace, love, and dignity—but the emotional and financial weight of this is more than I can carry by myself.

We’re not just preparing for the hardest goodbye—we’re also facing impossible expenses. I need help with:

Hospice and comfort care supplies

Basic needs while I care for him full-time

Funeral and burial costs, so he can be laid to rest with dignity

Asking for help is incredibly difficult, but I am humbly reaching out because I have no other choice. I’m scared. I’m exhausted. And I’m grieving even before he’s gone.
