My name is David, and I’m reaching out because my son and I are facing a tough time. I was recently laid off from my job at Golden State Foods, where I had worked for just over a year. With the ongoing war, the company’s sales and production dropped, and since I was one of the newer employees, I was let go so they could keep their veteran staff. This left me with only one final paycheck and no stable place for my son and me to stay.

Right now, my son is staying with a kind church member while I do everything I can to find us a new home. I’ve managed to find a cheap apartment, but I’m short on the funds needed to move in. I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but I want to make sure my son has a safe and stable place to live. Every bit of support will help us get back on our feet and bring us back together under one roof.
