- Our brother David has been a force for good in the Roanoke Valley for decades, providing services and counsel in his (mostly!) quiet way to friends, neighbors, church, and strangers. An avid outdoorsman, he recently underwent emergency heart surgery, is recovering with great spirit, and hopes to return to his volunteer and work duties this fall. He is uninsured and can't work till then - so we hope to raise money for rent, food, and essentials to bridge him back to earning.
