Sometimes life can change in an instant.

We recently met David while filming in Liverpool, and after speaking with him, we learned just how quickly his life had fallen apart.

He opened up about what he’s been through, where he is now, and the reality of trying to rebuild your life when you feel like you’ve lost almost everything.

We were able to help David on the day, but after hearing his story, we didn’t want our support to end there.

So, with his permission, we’ve created this fundraiser to give our community the opportunity to stand behind him too.

The money raised will be used to help David get some stability back into his life — including accommodation, essential items, food and practical support to help him move forward.

Our aim isn’t simply to give him some money and walk away.

We want to help give him the breathing room and support he needs to start rebuilding properly.

Every donation, no matter how small, genuinely adds up. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support The Helpful Strangers and makes moments like this possible.

Let’s show David that he isn’t facing this alone. ❤️
