Hi, my name is Bricela Guaraca, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my uncle and his family.

On the morning of January 17, 2026

my uncle David Fajardo was simply going to the store to buy bread for his family when he was stopped by police. During this stop, it was discovered that he did not have immigration papers, and he was later reported to ICE.

David is a hardworking, honest man with a good heart. He has lived here for more then 20 years with no kind of criminal record what so ever. He has lived a quiet life focused on providing for his family. He owns a home and pays his taxes. His only goal has always been to work hard and take care of the people he loves.

David is a father of three children, ages 15, 9, and 3. They miss him deeply and depend on him emotionally and financially. His sudden absence has been heartbreaking for them, especially for the youngest, who is still very small and needs his father every day.

This unexpected situation has placed an overwhelming burden on our family. We are asking for help to cover:

• Legal and attorney fees

• Court and immigration related expenses

• Basic living expenses to support his children and household during this difficult time
