I'm Allia Barber, daughter of David “Davie/Dave” Barber, for whom I'm making this GoFundMe. He lost his home on my grandpa's property due to the Rowena fire, as did many of my other family members. He had no warning; immediate level 3 evacuation was initiated. He left with the clothes on his back, a couple of family pictures, and our two dogs, leaving behind our outside kitties since they were nowhere to be found.

My dad paid his rent by being the maintenance man for the other rentals. My dad has always been a hardworking man despite being run over across his pelvis, shattering all his bones 30 years ago. He was very lucky to be able to walk again but has been in constant pain ever since. He has been waiting on disability for over 10 years now and cannot pass a physical to get a steady job.

He is now homeless with no mementos of our childhood, and I just want to be able to help buy him a safe place to sleep and house the pups. It breaks my heart to have him in this situation and lose the home he raised my siblings and me in.

My dad would never ask for help, so I need to ask for him. ANYTHING is appreciated.
