Help Dave Hatch Heal: Stroke Rehabilitation Fund
Donation protected
On Sunday, July 28, 2024, Dave Hatch had a stoke with three massive brain bleeds. His daughter Savana was with him when it happened & called an ambulance. He was then transported to Grand River ER in Rifle, CO. After an initial CT he was then flight-for-life’d to St.Mary’s in Grand Junction, CO. From there he had a craniotomy surgery repair on Wednesday, July 31st; which was very successful in relieving the pressure on his brain & containing the bleeds. After surgery, he has had great daily progress in regaining all of his functions; physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually. We as a family, are finally to a point that he will be released from the GJ hospital in a few weeks to a full-time ReHab center in Rifle. His employer has been beyond supportive to his family in this endeavor. However, this is a huge financial toll on Dave & Ros, his wife, and Savana, his daughter. Ros is staying full time in GJ to be with him daily for rehab & Savana four days a week. We normally are not a family to reach out to the community for help; as we tend to be on the other side with our volunteer efforts. This was a hard step to take, but any help at this point is beyond appreciated. Ros & Savana are still staying full-time in GJ at a hotel. The love, support & prayers has been immense & we are are so greatful! Thank you! He is strong & fighting so hard; as the Dave we all know!!!
