It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our father, Dave Hanbury, has been diagnosed with end-stage liver cancer, following a long and difficult battle with cirrhosis. His condition has deteriorated rapidly, and his medical team has informed us that he has only weeks left to live. This devastating reality has left our family heartbroken as we prepare to say goodbye far sooner than we ever expected.

As his daughters, we are doing everything in our power to be by his side during this incredibly painful time. Unfortunately, the emotional toll is now compounded by financial strain. We are missing work in order to care for him, and the costs of transportation, tolls, parking, food, and other essentials are growing quickly. With the rising cost of living, this has become an overwhelming burden at an already fragile time.

We are currently in the process of securing a safe and comfortable place for our father to spend his final days. In the meantime, we are reaching out to our community for support.
