My wife and I have been facing some of the hardest times of our lives. After our landlord raised the rent and forced us out so he could move in, we suddenly found ourselves without a home. We did our best to keep going, living in our van while working, making sure to stay clean and keep our spirits up. But then the van’s motor broke down, leaving us stranded and without heat. Even then, we kept working and tried to fix the van, but it turned out we needed a whole new motor. We put every dollar we had into trying to get back on our feet, but it just wasn’t enough. Eventually, we lost our jobs because we couldn’t get to work, and we had nowhere left to go. I cashed out my 401k, but it didn’t last long. We spent everything we had on hotels, just trying to stay safe and warm, until the money ran out.

Now, we’re asking for help so we can get back on our feet. The funds raised will go directly toward securing stable housing and making investments that will help us regain financial stability. We’re determined to keep moving forward, no matter how tough things get. Any help, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
