Hey folks. It's my first time doing this, so bear with me.

Just started working with this gentleman named Darryl. He's a traveler from Florida. His story today broke my heart.

Naturally a provider for his wife and daughter, he was laid off in Florida and started doing odd side jobs, essentially racing the rent. He's about to get evicted in Florida. His wife is working two jobs, just started today. He's now in Buffalo, staying at a homeless shelter, taking public transportation from the city to the suburbs, eating Campbell's soup. Doesn't drink. Doesn't do drugs.

Sometimes life seems to get hard even if you do the right things.

He didn't ask for this, but I figure it's an appropriate situation. I would love to hand him a check in a couple of weeks.

He roots for the Bills against the Chiefs...
