Hi, my name is Michael. I work at Darlington College as the Brickwork Technician, and I’m the Trip Lead for a Turing trip to Cambodia with our Construction Department.
This year, our students have an incredible opportunity to travel to Cambodia to help build a toilet block for a local community in partnership with Challenges Abroad.
For many of the children their, access to safe and hygienic sanitation is something we often take for granted. By building this facility, our students won’t just be developing valuable construction skills — they’ll be making a real, lasting difference to children’s health, education, and daily lives.
To make this life-changing trip possible, I am aiming to raise £2,500 to help reduce the cost for the students who are giving their time and energy to support this important project. Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards travel, materials, and project costs.
Please help us support these young people as they step up to build brighter futures — both for themselves and for the children they’re helping in Cambodia.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support.
