Help Dappz find stable housing

I met Dappz nearly two years ago when I was looking to give away my work sponsored metro card. I was aiming for someone in the QTPOC community who would put it to good use. I didn't know at the time how our lives would intertwine; but I found a new family member that day.
If you've ever met Dappz, you know they're a force to be reckoned with. In the two years we've known each other, I have learned to admire their tenacity for survival and problem solving. I have witnessed their strength in handling setbacks like chronic homelessness, mental illness, jail-which has left them dealing with PTSD, and countless other macro/micro-aggression's against them as a black queer person. Though they always seem to persevere I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to just keep surviving. I've seen their light dim a little and through it all, they keep their head up. They keep smiling and dancing and creating beautiful moments despite the ugliness they face daily.
Dappz works incredibly hard to save what they can through odd jobs. Everyday is about survival. Recently, housing has been more stable, but their current living situation is less than ideal. Dappz wants to find stable housing in order to focus on mental health through obtaining a therapist, and stable work by going back to school to finish pursuing their dream of becoming a certified personal trainer.
Dappz emanates so much light and laughter that it is sometimes hard to see the darkness they deal with all while supporting others. They deserve it all back and then some. Please help Dappz gather enough funds to move out of this toxic living situation and get back on track to a healthy and happy livelihood. Simply 'surviving' is not enough. We need to come together as a community to help each other find the light during this dark time for Dappz.
