Hi,

I have never been one to ask for anything, but I have realized asking for help is not weakness. I am willing to do anything for my 5-year-old son, Dante, who is on the autism spectrum. I am currently working two jobs just to make enough to send him to therapy. The therapy has helped him a great deal, but he has reached the age where he needs to attend a special needs school. There are no public schools in our area that provide academics for children living with ASD, and I now have to cancel therapy to pay for special needs school.

My wife and I have been over our budget time after time, and we both know we can't afford any unexpected expenses. She has been looking for a job to help, but no one wants to hire someone that would need to leave work early to pick up kids from school or get time off to drop them to therapy. The bottom line is we can't afford paying school fees and therapy, but like I said, I will do anything for Dante. I found a therapist that provides Hippotherapy (horse therapy); this would reduce our cost slightly, and I might be able to cover it once I make enough delivering food in the evenings.

I would like to have full transparency with regards to transferring the funds raised. Currently Gofundme is not supported in Trinidad and Tobago, but I have a close friend that lives in Florida. She has opened an account specifically for Dante and she will receive the money raised in that account and then transfer it to us here in Trinidad and Tobago.

I will greatly appreciate any donations that will go towards Dante's Hippotherapy. Thank you to everyone that was sympathetic to our cause. Each month we send 2300 ttd or 340usd. With the donations we have received so far we have paid for school and therapy up to March. This has helped us immensely and trust that i will do everything in my power to continue along this path.
