Dear Family, Friends, Acquaintances, and Strangers,

I'm fundraising on behalf of my brother, Danny Gibbons. He broke his foot over the summer and it has been a long road to recovery. They ended up doing surgery to put a screw through the side of his foot. Then the incision from the surgery became infected and still hasn't healed properly. As a result, the doctor has ordered an additional CT scan and bloodwork.

The X-rays are painful to look at with that huge screw going through the side of his foot, especially when you think about all of his weight landing on it.

Since his work requires him to be on his feet all day and he hasn't been released by doctors, he hasn't worked for almost six months… and boy, do the bills pile up when he's living paycheck to paycheck already and he suddenly has no income at all.

To make matters worse, he no longer has health insurance coverage. So now he has the added stress of dealing with medical debt.

I'm raising $20,000 to help pay for that medical debt and offset bills incurred since being off of work to help alleviate some of the financial stress so he can focus on healing his foot and getting back to work.
