I was working at Long John Silver’s, doing my best to provide for my family, when something unexpected happened. A TikToker secretly recorded me at work, capturing a moment where I was simply being myself and offering the best customer service I could. The video went viral, reaching over 125,000 views, and I was even offered a job in management. But things took a turn for the worse. Because I didn’t have childcare, I was fired without any explanation. Suddenly, I found myself without a job, with three children to care for and my mother who needs 24-hour support due to her oxygen dependency.

Right now, my family and I are living in a hotel because we have nowhere else to go. Every day is a struggle to keep a roof over our heads and make sure my children and mother are safe. The funds raised here will help me pay for our room, provide shelter for my family, and hopefully allow us to buy a car and move into a place of our own.
