My brother Danilo, a hardworking father and small business owner, is currently facing a difficult and uncertain time. On July 30th, while on his way to breakfast with our cousin and my nephew, Danilo was unexpectedly detained by immigration authorities in Oklahoma. Danilo has built a life in the United States, working tirelessly to provide for his two children, Mateo (10) and Juvelina (2). He owns a car shop where he repairs and sells vehicles, and he has always taken pride in supporting his family and being a present, loving dad.

Danilo is now fighting to gain his green card and remain with his children, but the legal process is expensive and overwhelming.
