My name is Danielle, and I’m expecting a baby girl on May 28th. I’ve always dreamed of giving her a safe and loving home, but right now, I’m facing some tough challenges. Despite working hard and applying for every government assistance program I can—like HEAP/PIPP, WIC, and SNAP—I’ve only been approved for SNAP so far. I’m still waiting to apply for additional support, but the process takes time, and the benefits I receive just aren’t enough to cover all our needs. I’m struggling to pay utilities, afford prescriptions, and keep enough groceries in the house. I’ve even reached out to local charities, but haven’t had any luck so far. On top of that, I’m trying to move to a safer environment for my baby and have a stable home for us.
