Hi, my name is Daniele Vasconcelos, and I’m raising funds to help me and my son, Daniel, move to a safe home.

We urgently need support for our new apartment deposit and moving expenses. I’ve already been approved for a new place and even approved by the City of North Miami’s Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program, but due to the government shutdown, the program can’t release funds right now. If I can’t cover these by 10/13, I’ll lose the apartment — and with it, our chance for stability.

The place where we live now has become unsafe for our health. I’ve been diagnosed with mold allergies, and my doctor warned that I won’t get better if I stay here. The constant exposure has also affected Daniel, who has begun experiencing panic attacks again.

I’ve already secured a new job that begins on November 1st, but I have no savings left to make this transition. Your support will help us:
