Hi, my name is Daniel and I’m fundraising to help Daniel Wren, a skilled carpenter who is currently sleeping on trains at night between Croydon and London Bridge just to stay warm and safe.

Daniel’s story was recently featured on Sky News, highlighting the reality of “hidden homelessness.” He lost his home after taking time off to care for his dying father, and now rides overnight trains to survive — getting just 45 minutes of sleep at a time.

He hasn’t asked for help, but I believe we as a community can step up.

This fundraiser will help Daniel:

Secure safe accommodation

Rebuild his toolkit so he can return to work

Access food, clothing, and essential supplies

We’re aiming to raise £7,000. This is a direct act of compassion to restore dignity, stability, and hope. I’ve reached out to the journalist who covered Daniel’s story to ensure he’s comfortable with this support.

If Daniel prefers the money to be handled through a charity or other secure route, I’ll honour that fully. Every donation will be accounted for and used only to help him.
