Hi there, and thank you for your support! I've decided to make this fundraiser for Daniel and his 3 children. Twins (boy/girl age 14) and younger boy (age 6). Without getting into too much detail because there is a current court case going on, I can tell you a bit about their story.

In April of 2023. Daniel received a phone call from local police department, that he needed to pick up his children immediately from their mother. He rushed to them in a panic, unaware of any details. Once he arrived, he was met with police. The mother of his children, had her car parked in her driveway. She had locked herself and their kids inside her car. She was not letting them out, nor cooperating with police. It took some time but, they were finally released to police unharmed. Whom then, released them to Daniel. They were made aware that evening, the mother was having a psychotic mental break due to drug use.

That night was the beginning of a long journey, for all 4 of them.

Upon receiving them, he learned there was more going on in the home than he ever imagined. Along with drug abuse, there was physical abuse, mental abuse, verbal abuse, and neglect towards the children. If you were to sit down, with his two oldest (who are not biologically his) your heart would break at how they've been treated. The things they've seen and experienced. They weren't allowed to go anywhere. They were cut off from all family. CPS had been called multiple times, but the Missouri system failed these children. He has had the children full time in his care ever since that evening, and has no plans or desires of letting them go back to her.

Both the twins are currently undergoing therapy. They have each had episodes of PTSD, depression and anxiety. Things are improving, slowly but surely. They are starting to thrive being in Daniel's care.

The weekend visits haven't been easy. There has been a long history of harassment, threats, abuse and false accusations. They are almost at the finish line!

With that being said, this has been a financial hardship for Daniel. He has already paid over $20,000 in legal fees. He was made aware yesterday that he needs to pay $5,000 before trial. We're so glad that this trial is coming to an end. But if he cannot pay the $5,000 before trial on 12/9, there's a chance he could lose his lawyer.

If she gets these children back in her care, she will cut off all ties to Daniel, his family, their church, and their friends. She will move to an unknown location. To keep the kids in a bubble of her control. We just want to give them their lives back. Let them be free to make their own decisions, grow in a loving environment, and ultimately be at peace.
