I am starting a gofundme for my son Daniel and grandson Atlas. The process of to prove paternity and establish a parenting plan has been long and expensive and although the whole family has come together to support him, the funds have been depleted. In the meantime, it has been going on 3 months since the baby's mother has kept Atlas away from Daniel during which we all have been extremely worried about his welfare and well-being.

We cared for Atlas and his mom for 10 months when we brought them into our home. Daniel provided for their every need so she didn't have to work. Atlas went from being extremely underweight and malnourished upon moving in to thriving under our watch and care. It was a joy to watch Daniel step into his role as a caring and loving father. Although, Daniel and the mother of his child broke up in January, they continued to co-parent and live together for the best interest of the baby.

However, at the end of March we were completely blindsided when she suddenly disappeared while Daniel was at work and moved states away to be with a new boyfriend blocking all our family and Daniel from any contact. Daniel has missed Atlas's first birthday, first steps and father's day. We have spent the time since fighting for Daniel's right to see his son and be a part of his life. We want justice for Daniel and to ensure Atlas's welfare. Every child deserves to have their father in their life and every father should be able to be there for the child. Unless we get a court order allowing him to be apart of Atlas's life, he may never see him again. Please help us continue to fight. Thank you. Update: The transmission just went out of Daniel's car. He uses this car for his delivery job. He now needs to get a different car on top of everything else. Every dollar helps.
