Hello, today I’m writing with a heavy heart to ask for help for someone who means so much to me my best friend, Daniel.

Like so many immigrants, Daniel came to the United States with dreams, goals, and a strong desire to build a better future through honest work. For many years, he has worked as a personal trainer, dedicating his life to helping others improve their health, confidence, and overall well-being. He is a hardworking, disciplined man with strong values, a kind heart, and a deep love for his family.

Sadly, Daniel was detained by ICE during his immigration court hearing. This situation has been incredibly painful and overwhelming, not only for him, but also for his family. No one who leaves their home country seeking a better life deserves to go through such a difficult and uncertain process.

We are raising funds to support his family with legal expenses, including the cost of an immigration attorney, with the hope that Daniel can be released. If he is required to return to Colombia, these funds will also help him start over from scratch, rebuild his life, and face the future with dignity after everything he has endured.

Daniel is truly a good man the kind who is always there for others, who works hard without harming anyone, who believes in family, respect, and doing the right thing. This experience has been heartbreaking, but we are holding on to hope and the power of community.
