Help Daniel go to school and help this family ❤️
Hi everyone! I wanted to let you all know of a charitable opportunity. One of my very best friends from my mission in India, Ammu, tragically passed away a few months ago from Covid. She was living with her sister Thilaka in very humble conditions in Bangalore and they were both raising their children as single mothers. When Ammu passed, she left behind a very sweet 16 year old boy named Daniel who now does not have a mother or a father. He lives with Thilaka and her son Stephen. Daniel has ambitions to serve a mission one day and to go to college. Although Thilaka normally works to cook and clean for families and does tutoring for little kids, she has been unable to work due to the horrible conditions from the pandemic in India, and she has obviously been absolutely heartbroken from the passing of her best friend. Her son's low-paying job is their only means of financial support for all of them right now. I spoke to Thilaka recently and she told me that they have been unable to pay for Daniel's fees to attend school, and she and her family have just been struggling quite a bit.
I know this family very well and feel a special connection to Daniel, Ammu, Thilaka and Stephen as I was fortunate enough to teach them and grow very close to them on my mission. Ammu was one of the kindest people I have ever met and her faith was inspiring, and Thilaka and Stephen are doing their best to protect and provide for Daniel. They have overcome a lot of obstacles and anybody that has met this family absolutely loves them as they are the kindest and most loving people. If you guys are in a position and are looking for something to send a charitable donation to, this would be a well-appreciated opportunity. Any kind of support would mean a lot to them and to me. If you would prefer to donate via Venmo, my username is @Dustin-Randall-2. All funds raised will be sent to Thilaka to pay for Daniel's school and to help this family out. I know many of you are charitable in many other ways but I just wanted to let you all know in case anybody wanted to contribute anything to this amazing family in need. Please feel free to share with anyone you think may be interested in helping. Thank you!
