Help Daniel Battle Cancer Debt
Donation protected
At the onset of this year, life threw Cooper and I a devastating curveball—Stage 2 Breast Cancer with a BRCA gene mutation. This particularly aggressive form of cancer necessitated an intense treatment plan, including a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and currently, a six week regimen of daily radiation therapy. This will be followed by another invasive surgery in October to remove Cooper's tubes and ovaries, as the cancer is estrogen-fueled.
Navigating this emotional and physical gauntlet has drained us in every sense. As Cooper's primary caregiver, balancing their medical needs and our joint web design business, not to mention the daily operations of our household, has left me utterly exhausted—emotionally, physically, and financially.
As we inch toward a new semblance of normalcy, I find myself deep in credit card debt, having depleted my savings. While our business is gradually picking up again, the financial hole we're in is more than I can manage alone.
As difficult as it is for me to ask for help, I've reached a point where I need the support of my community and family.
Here's How You Can Help:
Previous Support: If you've already donated to Cooper's medical fund or have supported us in other ways, please know how profoundly grateful we are. Your generosity has not gone unnoticed.
Business Referrals: We're back in action and seeking web design work. Our temporary hiatus set us back considerably, and getting back to designing beautiful websites is our preferred way to rebuild financially. If you know someone who needs a new website, direct them to our business site at https://www.lightpress.net
Donations & Shares: Every little bit counts. Whether it's a donation, sharing this GoFundMe via email, or promoting it on social media, your help will be a beacon of support through this challenging time. Even a $5 donation serves as a reminder that we're not alone in this battle.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can offer. Together, we'll face what comes next.
