My name is Michael, and I am creating this fundraiser for my partner, Dani, and their 7-year-old son. For some time, Dani has been living in an unsafe and increasingly hostile environment. What began as a housing arrangement became a situation involving intimidation, threats, coercion, and fear. The emotional toll has been severe, and the situation has affected both Dani and their child. Dani has worked hard to rebuild their life and make progress through support services, but recent events have left them facing an urgent need to relocate. Their priority is finding a safe place where they and their son can live without fear and begin healing from what they have experienced.

Complicating matters further, Dani also has a beloved puppy who is part of their family. Many emergency housing options cannot accommodate pets, creating additional barriers to finding safe shelter. Our goal is to secure stable housing that allows Dani, their son, and their puppy to remain together. I am currently in Oregon awaiting a kidney transplant, which prevents me from being there in person to help. From a distance, I am doing everything I can to support them and help them reach safety.

Funds raised will help cover emergency housing and deposits, moving and transportation costs, food and household necessities, expenses related to keeping the family together (including their puppy), and other immediate costs associated with establishing a safe and stable home.
