Help me build a bridge in Africa! In July of this year I am heading to a small country in Africa called Eswatini to build my 10th pedestrian bridge with Engineers in Action. Since 2010, I've mentored college engineering students in the design of pedestrian bridges to be located in Central America, South America, and Africa and travel with them to assist in the construction. These bridges are proven to extend the life expectancy of the villagers by connecting children with schools, farmers with markets, and residents with medical care. This year, EIA is requiring us members of the EIA Bridge Corps to fund raise for materials, travel, and living expenses. Since I feel a little guilty asking for money, I'm going to personally match every dollar donated until I reach my $2,000 goal (for a total of $4,000). Please visit https://www.engineersinaction.org/ for more information. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Dan
