Hi, I am Dan White. I am the single father of an 18-year-old young man with severe level three autism. Aiden is non-verbal and has oral apraxia. I have been hospitalized 4 times over the last year when I didn't have health insurance due to being unemployed. I went through multiple afib episodes, had 2 cardioversions (shocked to reset my heart), and was diagnosed with severe COPD. Plus, I have dealt with a bunch of debt that Karen left me with. I have gotten to the point where I have spent through all my savings and maxed out my credit cards. I am currently in forbearance on my home loan and have gotten to the point where I can't pay any of my bills. I am so embarrassed about this, but I have gotten to a point where I may lose my house and have all my utilities shut down.
