Hello Everyone,
The Dallas Martial Arts Parents have created this Relief Fund for our martial arts school--Dallas Martial Arts-- to help with the financial burden due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and related expenses and hardship from the city-ordered closure in effect since mid-March 2020 and current occupancy restrictions that are in place for martial arts facilities upon re-opening.
Dallas Martial Arts has been a staple in the Far North Dallas community for over 30 years and has trained countless students both young and old alike in self-discipline and awareness, physical fitness, self-defense, mental strength and valuable social skills. The life skills and confidence Dallas Martial Arts provides its students is priceless, but now Dallas Martial Arts needs our help to keep providing these valuable lessons during these uncertain times!
Unlike other businesses, Dallas Martial Arts’ only source of income is from its student members. Unfortunately, many students already have discontinued martial arts instruction and much uncertainty exists surrounding the “when and how” DMA will re-open its doors and then how likely the remaining students will return and feel safe with the ongoing coronavirus concerns.
All donations will go towards expenses related to Dallas Martial Arts’ operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, including its rent, necessary renovations to the new facility location, lost revenue from the forced closure and occupancy restrictions, and the scholarship fund that allows all students to participate in martial arts instruction regardless of income.
Everyone is going through hardships during these trying times. This is understood. Any financial donation you can make is greatly appreciated and will provide a martial arts child with a valuable escape both physically and mentally.
Thank you so much! Please stay safe and together we will overcome this COVID-19 pandemic!
