Help Dakota Rebuild After Devastating Fire

Prayers for my brother! His house caught fire tonight (11/22) around 1:30am & they have a 4yr old with autism so this will be a big change for him! My brother Dakota (who is only 24) was at work at the time when Savannah smelled smoke coming from the wood stove area. At first she didnt realize a fire had started in the chimney & walls until the whole outside part of the chimney top to bottom engulfed in flames. Thankfully we live next door & was able to get down there so her & River, their son, could get to safety out of the cold. We called 911 but by the time the volunteer firefighters got there the fire had spread to the attic area of the house. They had to knock out the ceilings & walls to put out the fire & stayed for awhile to watch for hot spots. We are very thankful for these men/women coming out during the night in the frigid air to help them. The house is going to need to be completely gutted & redone. The firefighters said the frame of the house was pretty sturdy still mostly due to it being a really old house, probably 100+yrs. Not only was this their house they lived in currently but it was also the house Dakota, me & our other siblings grew up in so it is a bit sentimental. Their son is autistic and goes to therapy (speech, occupational, & physical) multiple times a week. Dakota does work but he has to make his schedule around all of these appts so funds were already light & this is a huge financial burden they did not expect. He did not have house insurance. They lost pretty much everything. If it wasn't burnt from the fire it has major water & smoke damage and will need to be tossed. They are with me for the night (however long they need to stay) but will try to get a motel until they can find a cheap place to rent for more long term until the house can be fixed as this kind of work will take months to repair especially with winter coming they wont be able to do much right now.
