Hello friends and neighbors,

This picture was taken a week ago Saturday, with her 2 children and bonus kid surrounding her, along with our mom holding her hand. All by her side from the day she arrived to today and beyond. I'm in the room too, my daughter and grandson as well. Praying for healing and wisdom through this diagnosis. All kinds of questions about what life will look like when she is able to return home. How will her children pay for everything?!?

A week prior, she awoke to find she could not move on her own. The symptoms that were plaguing her more progressively over the last 6 months were no longer just symptoms; they were now a reality. Parkinson's...

Her name is Cynthia. I call her Sissy or Sis, mostly referred to as Mom, Grandma, and my friend Cindy. Just a short time, 2 years ago, she was excited for her new path and purchased her first house. Blessed with her children and a couple of grands with her under her new roof. The pride of being a homeowner, all together one way or another they all chipped in to create this dream.

Working a full-time job, she began to fall, lose her bearing here and there without warning. Pain too unbearable to lift 5lbs, much less 30lbs as her job required, and remaining on her feet for the entire shift. She ended up leaving her position in the emotions of all the pain. From that day, it seemed exceedingly progressing full stop. Pain in the neck region, all the way down her spine was constant, loss of mobility in her left arm, her entire body stricken with nerve pain. Many and recent doctor's visits never pointed to Parkinson's?

We are reaching out to HCBC programs thru Medicaid....long hold times, recent diagnoses.

She is due to return home soon, perhaps even in a weeks time. A WHEEL CHAIR LIFT AND RAMP is desperately needed. Home modifications to wheel around, perhaps even a hospital-like bed. And, of course many bills to catch up on. Please consider a donation, always in prayer. Thank you for your kindness.
