Update: We are continuing to look for another car. It has been difficult as the options are limited and no where near as nice as the one she bought in April. Amy has been overwhelmed by the generosity of all of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi, my name is Cynde J. I have never asked for anything through social media, but this is for my daughter. My oldest daughter has been working hard to be able to purchase her FIRST car. In April, she found an immaculate 2016 Toyota Corolla S and purchased it for a total of $15,950. 10 days after she purchased it, a man backed into it while it was parked. The force was great enough to bend the frame and total the car. She was devestated!

The man admitted fault. There were 2 witnesses and video. As you all know, insurance companies always lowball the payout. My husband has been dealing with the insurance company and has gotten the payout amount increased.

However, she will have to take a $4,000 loss on the vehicle after owning it for only 10 days.
