Hello, my name is Ashleigh, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my 46 year old husband, Curt. Recently, our world was turned upside down when Curt was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. In the coming weeks, he will begin an intense battle of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatments, and he will be unable to work while fighting for his health and strength at home.
We are a family of four, which includes us and our 2 children, Kayla our 16 year old daughter and Cassius our 3.5 year old autistic son. We are doing everything we can to stay strong through this heartbreaking and overwhelming time. I am a stay-at-home mom caring full-time for our son, and now I will also be caring for Curt every step of the way as he faces the toughest fight of his life.
Watching someone you love suffer is something no family is ever truly prepared for. Despite the fear and uncertainty ahead, Kayla, Cass and I are determined to stand beside Curt through every appointment, every treatment, every difficult day, and every small victory along the way.
With a reduced income we are humbly asking for help. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward supporting our family during this difficult journey — helping with bills, groceries, transportation to treatments, and allowing us to focus on what matters most: helping Curt fight cancer and heal.
If you are unable to donate, sharing our story would mean the world to us. Every prayer, kind word, and act of support gives us strength and hope when we need it most.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with our family during this unimaginable time.
