Hi! I'm Cris Ericson and I am fed up with UNFAIR FEDERAL TAX LAWS created by U.S. Congress to make the rich even richer while hard working people become poorer and poorer. I'm running as an Independent candidate for Representative to the U.S. Congress in the Nov. 3, 2026 general election in Vermont. Because I am disabled, and my social security is tiny, I need donations to pay volunteers $50. per page to gather petition signatures plus gas to get a total of 500 verifiable Vermont registered Voter petition signatures to qualify for the election ballot in Vermont.

It is the UNFAIR FEDERAL TAX issues no other candidate is talking about which affect how much funding we have for healthcare, housing, food assistance, education, infrastructure, etc.

We pay taxes to the I.R.S. and then the U.S. Congress votes to give billions of dollars to corporations as subsidies and they use our hard earned tax dollars to make products they sell worldwide, and they make huge profits but don't give us a share, even though they used our money to make their profits. So, I want to demand R.O.I. return on investment of our tax dollars from the 400 or 500 of the corporations who receive the biggest multi million dollar subsidies. This is not "double taxation". I expect the largest corporations to continue to be taxed, but I also want a return on investment of the corporate welfare, the subsidies, they are given. We are victims of unfair use of our tax dollars when the rich get richer and the poor get poorer because the poor are taxed to give to the rich.
