Hello! My name is Spencer, and I am raising funds to create winter care packages for people experiencing homelessness in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area.

For years, I have wanted to do something meaningful to support members of my community who are struggling, and this year I have decided to make it happen.

Although the care packages will be distributed during the winter months, I am starting this fundraiser in June so I have plenty of time to carefully plan, purchase supplies in bulk, watch for sales, and hopefully raise enough money to make even more care packages than I originally planned.

My goal is to assemble comprehensive winter care packages that go beyond the basics. Each package will include warm clothing, hygiene supplies, first aid items, snacks, winter weather essentials, local resource information, and other practical items that can help make the colder months a little safer and more comfortable. I also plan to provide hot meals and create specialized kits for menstrual supplies and pet owners.

I am personally researching, planning, purchasing, sorting, labeling, and assembling every package. My family will help distribute them directly to people in need during the winter season.

Every dollar donated will go directly toward supplies, food, and materials for the project. If we exceed our fundraising goal, the additional funds will be used to create more care packages, provide more meals, and extend outreach efforts throughout the winter.
