Help create memories for Alfie

This is Alfie, he’s 9 years old and has just been diagnosed with a rare neuro degenerative and life limiting condition called acute cerebellum ataxia, which is so advanced, there is no treatment. Alfie’s been discharged from hospital and is now on the palliative care pathway to keep him comfortable and stable at home with a limited life expectancy. We are trying to raise some funds to create some special family memories and experiences for Alfie as his condition is deteriorating with limited vision, hearing, speech and he is now wheelchair bound. Alfie’s wish has always been to visit Disneyland but with his mum being a single mum of 3, She has never been able to fulfil this.

Me and my team at Academics are sponsoring Alfie by doing a virtual cycle from our office to Disneyland (339 miles) to raise money.
