Help Create Bocceball and Horseshoe Pits for St. Columba

Hello, my name is Michael McLaughlin. I am a Life Scout in Troop 450 working toward Eagle Rank. I have been a part of the scouting program for 11 years, starting in Pack 258 as a Cub Scout. To continue my scouting journey, the Eagle Rank requires me to plan, fundraise, and carry out a project to benefit the community.

My Eagle Project is to build a bocce ball pit and horseshoe pit for St. Columba's 7500 annual visitors. I plan on completing this project in October of 2024 with the help of 20 to 30 people. This will require railroad ties for the walls of the bocce ball pit, assorted gravel and sand to fill the bocce ball pit, and wood and rebar for the horseshoes. I am reaching out to my family, friends, and local community to purchase the materials required. All proceeds are toward the funding of materials and resources for this project, and all extra funds will be donated to the beneficiary of Saint Columba.
