Our Vision
At Huntington Dr. Elementary School, our young Panthers deserve a safe, beautiful environment where they can learn and play. Currently, our playground sits directly along busy Huntington Drive, where heavy traffic, speeding cars, and occasional accidents create both visual distractions and privacy concerns for our students and staff.
The Project: Panther Pride Privacy Screen
We're launching a community-led initiative to install an attractive cup-design privacy screen along our chain-link fence facing Huntington Drive.
This creative solution will:
✨ Enhance Student Privacy - Give our children a more secure, protected feeling while playing outdoors
✨Beautify Our Campus - Transform a plain chain-link fence into an eye-catching display of school pride
✨Show Panther Spirit - Feature our beloved Panther Paw mascot and school colors for all to see
✨Improve Driver Experience - Create a pleasant, colorful view for commuters while reducing distractions
Why This Matters
Our students spend recess and PE time in full view of busy traffic. This simple yet effective privacy screen will help them focus on playing and learning rather than the hustle and bustle of the street. At the same time, it will show our entire community the pride we have in Huntington Dr. Elementary School.
